Responsible AI Policy

Tekdia treats AI as a business and technology capability that must be shaped with judgment, context and accountability. AI should support people, improve workflows and create measurable value without weakening privacy, security, trust or human decision-making.

These principles guide how Tekdia advises on and supports applied AI work.

Transparency

We aim to make AI use understandable. Where Tekdia advises on AI-enabled workflows, prototypes or tools, the purpose, data inputs, expected outputs and decision boundaries should be clear.

Human Oversight

AI should not remove human responsibility from important decisions. Tekdia supports designs where people remain able to review, approve, challenge or override AI-assisted outputs where appropriate.

Practical Value

AI work should start from a real business problem, workflow need or operating constraint. Tekdia avoids AI for its own sake and focuses on use cases that can be adopted, measured and maintained.

Privacy and Data Protection

AI work must respect privacy and applicable data protection requirements. Client data should be handled according to agreed safeguards, and confidential data should not be used to train public AI models unless expressly agreed in writing.

Security by Design

AI-related work should consider access control, data exposure, model usage, vendor risk, logging, monitoring and secure integration from the beginning, not after deployment.

Fairness and Bias Awareness

AI systems can reflect bias in data, design or use. Tekdia supports review of data quality, assumptions, edge cases and potential unfair outcomes where AI may affect people, decisions or service delivery.

Explainability and Traceability

AI outputs should be understandable enough for the context in which they are used. Where relevant, Tekdia encourages documentation of model purpose, inputs, limitations, decision logic, prompts, workflows and review steps.

Accountability

Clients remain responsible for business decisions made using AI-assisted outputs. Tekdia's role is to advise, structure, review and support responsible use, with responsibilities defined in the relevant proposal or statement of work.

Governance and Control

AI adoption should include clear ownership, approval paths, acceptable use rules, monitoring, escalation and review. Tekdia supports governance that fits the organization's operating reality, not abstract policy alone.

Continuous Review

AI systems, tools and regulations change quickly. Tekdia encourages periodic review of AI use cases, outputs, risks, data quality, vendor changes and operating impact.

Tekdia does not knowingly support AI use designed to deceive, manipulate, unlawfully discriminate, bypass privacy or security controls, or cause harm. Tekdia also avoids AI implementations where the purpose, data source, ownership or accountability model is unclear.

Tekdia may use AI tools to support research, drafting, analysis, prototyping or advisory work where appropriate. Confidential client information should only be used with suitable safeguards and according to the relevant agreement.

Tekdia will not intentionally use confidential client data to train public AI models unless expressly agreed in writing.

AI-generated analysis, recommendations, summaries, prototypes or outputs should be reviewed by qualified humans before being used for business, operational, legal, financial, security or people-impacting decisions.

Tekdia may advise on or work with third-party AI tools, cloud platforms, model providers, automation tools or software vendors. These services remain subject to their own terms, privacy policies, security practices and limitations.

Tekdia monitors responsible AI expectations and relevant regulatory developments, including privacy, security, governance and AI-related laws where applicable. Specific compliance obligations for a given engagement should be confirmed with legal counsel.
